Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts Appoints Bob Tarren as New Chief Marketing Officer


The Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts, formerly known as the Arkansas Arts Center, has selected Bob Tarren as its new chief marketing officer.

In a letter to the supporters on Monday (June 7th), AMFA Managing Director Victoria Ramirez Tarren announced the new position.

“After a nationwide search, I’m excited to introduce the new Chief Marketing Officer of the Arkansas Museum of Fine Art, Bob Tarren.

“As Head of Marketing & Community Engagement at both the Frick Pittsburgh and Virginia Museum of Fine Arts and Director of Marketing and Public Affairs at the Science Museum in Richmond, VA, Bob brings extensive experience piloting successful museum marketing programs.

“Bob’s experience is not just unusual. He was also the Chief Marketing Officer for the MAD | Murphy Arts District in El Dorado, AR.

“Bob also received the Arkansas Governor’s Tourism Award and the Arkansas Festivals & Events Association Gold Award.

“Bob will lead our talented marketing team and focus on AMFA’s grand opening in May 2022,” wrote Ramirez.

The Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts is undergoing massive renovations in MacArthur Park in Little Rock as part of a $ 142 million capital campaign. The museum announced in January that it would be rebranding from the Arkansas Arts Center to the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts.
