Generac is auctioning off guitars signed by Summerfest artists


MILWAUKEE – Generac will be auctioning off nine guitars at the end of Summerfest, all signed by artists performing on the Generac Power Stage.

According to a Summerfest press release, Generac is inviting all artists performing on the Power Stage to autograph one of nine guitars. At the end of the festival, the American Red Cross will auction the guitars.

The press release said the proceeds will support the American Red Cross’ international services, which help people affected by conflicts such as the situation in Ukraine, natural disasters and other global humanitarian crises.

The Red Cross has set up a website where you can browse and bid for guitars. As of Friday morning, the website still says it’s coming soon. However, once you have posted, you can do so Here you will find the guitars.

This year’s Generac Power Stage lineup includes The Black Crowes, Violent Femmes, Anthrax, GAYLE, Modern English, Death Cab for Cutie and more.

Additionally, Summerfest and Generac honor members of military service on July 1st, Military Appreciation Day. There will be a military appreciation ceremony with a presentation of colors, song performances and a speech by an Army Staff Sergeant.
