Goshen Painters’ Guild Announces Annual Workshop | Local news



GOSHEN – The Goshen Painters’ Guild annual workshop 2021 will present Karen Knutson as a lecturer and teach methods for the transition from realistic painting to abstraction.

The workshop will take place on August 12th, 13th and 14th from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with a one-hour lunch break. It is suitable for all painting levels, including beginners.

The three-day session, entitled “Moving from Realism to Abstraction,” is open to the public ages 18 and older at a price of $ 395, with a 20% discount for guild members. The workshop will take place at the Guild Studio, 212 W. Washington, Suite 16, second floor.

“We’re so happy to have a Karen’s level artist teacher coming to Goshen,” said guild leader Kristen O’Dell in a press release. “Her work and teaching methods have been praised again and again in her profession.”
