Polkacity introduces art galleries and how they work in the Metaverse
Polkacity developers took the hard route when creating a metaverse. They decided to build a metaverse that follows similar rules as in real life. This means that while metaverses like The Sandbox offer a toolbox for creativity à la Minecraft, Polkacity metaphorically wants to become more of a GTA of the crypto world.
Recently, the developers introduced art galleries into the game, implementing their own version of a gig economy and showing how they work. The team claimed to have worked with a number of digital art creators, the full list of which appears to be released in the future.
All NFTs will be available for purchase within the metaverse itself with POLC, and the galleries will support collection packs as well as functional art. Transactions are carried out via smart contracts for security reasons.
