BABCOCK RANCH, Fla. – Pulte Homes, one of the nation’s most recognized and trusted homebuilders for 70 years, is expanding its selection of new homes at Babcock Ranch with the introduction of Verde at Babcock Ranch, which is expected to open in mid-2023 . The neighborhood will be the next phase of Babcock Ranch’s development and will include a number of new neighborhoods, walking trails, parks and green spaces.

“Created for the value-oriented homebuyer, Verde will offer a simplified and streamlined buying process,” said Josh Graeve, President of PulteGroup’s Southwest Florida Division. “Homebuyers will appreciate the standard new home features combined with a variety of color and design options to customize their home. With Verde, we are also focused on giving families the opportunity to secure a new home in less time, with a choice of homes available quickly.”

Pulte expects to begin land development and construction of show homes in late 2022. The 109-acre neighborhood features 399 single-family homes and private amenities alongside a proposed pedestrian-friendly village center, community greenway and school Choice of two homesite sizes and a variety of consumer-inspired home designs. Verde’s private amenities include a neighborhood pool and a covered poolside cabana with seating.

Bordered by the Curry Creek Preserve on one side and the new village center on the other, Verde is located on the Curry Creek Trail just south of the Cypress Parkway, Babcock Ranch’s main road, which provides easy access to State Road 31, the new Crescent Shopping Center B Commons anchored by Publix, offers downtown dining, beauty salons, health and veterinary services and Lakefront Founder’s Square, the city’s quaint downtown neighborhood. Verde is also close to Babcock Neighborhood School, a project-based public charter school for kindergarten through eighth graders, and Babcock High School, opening for the 2022-23 school year.

“Many families have chosen Babcock Ranch because of its unique blend of outdoor recreation, scenic views of preserves and lakes, and proximity to a variety of activities in and around the community,” Graeve said. “Its appeal is cross-generational and suits a variety of lifestyle preferences with a vibrant atmosphere to live, work and play. Pulte looks forward to expanding new family housing options at Babcock Ranch as the city moves east in its latest phase.”

As the first solar-powered hometown in America, Babcock Ranch is committed to environmental sustainability – philosophies shared by Pulte Homes. Verde homes will reflect Pulte’s commitment to green building standards, energy efficiency and building healthier homes. Pulte received the Florida Green Building Coalition’s top honor for 2020 Builder of the Year for completing more coalition-certified single-family homes than any other developer in Florida, with more than half receiving the highest level of certification.
