The Carriage Barn Art Center has announced details of the organization’s 42nd annual Judged Photo Exhibition, which opens on January 22, 2022, for publications such as Time Magazine, The New Yorker, Rolling Stone, and Vanity Fair.
All photographers – amateurs, professionals and students – can submit original photographic media; Film photography and digital images are accepted. The criteria that the judge takes into account include: impact, creativity, style, composition, color balance, presentation, focus, lighting, theme, narration and level of difficulty. Art photography of all kinds is welcome; There is no required topic for entries. Up to six photographs can be submitted and images should not have been in previous Carriage Barn exhibitions.
“It is a great honor that Plato will make the selection for the upcoming photo exhibition,” says Hilary Wittmann, managing director of the Carriage Barn Arts Center. “His technical skills, intuitive approach, and dedication to creating a visual language that breaks barriers are sure to result in a visually stunning and thought-provoking exhibit.”
