There is still time to bid on art at the Venice Family Clinic Art Walk & Auction at Santa Monica Place

Santa Monica Gallery and Auction open through May 1st

There is still time to bid on artworks at the Venice Family Clinic Art Walk & Auction!

Through Sunday, May 1st, the clinic is offering the opportunity to view over 200 artworks by established, mid-career and emerging artists both in person at the clinic’s new Venice Art Walk gallery on Santa Monica Place and online at artsy see and bid on .net/veniceartwalk. Also new this year, the clinic is the beneficiary of an NFT auction hosted on Nifty Gateway. Proceeds from the sale of each artwork directly benefit the clinic’s mission to provide quality primary healthcare to those in need.

Artists from the NFT market have been invited to participate in the first-ever NFT auction benefiting the Venice Family Clinic.

“Welcoming artists from the NFT market feels like a bold but natural next step in the evolution of this important hospital fundraiser,” says Forer. “We’re grateful to be able to meet more people through this innovative format who are motivated to help us use our collective power to advance greater equity in healthcare.”

Contemporary artist and activist Andrea Bowers has been honored as a Signature Artist of the Venice Art Walk 2022.

“Health care is a human right. I am so grateful that the Venice Family Clinic exists to ensure people in need have access to quality healthcare that they can afford. The clinic alone cannot cover the enormous need for medical care. Our society needs to do more – for places like the clinic, for their patients and for the millions of uninsured people in this country,” Bowers said.

Bowers’ artwork is exhibited at the Venice Art Walk Gallery on Santa Monica Place along with sought-after pieces from artists such as John Baldessari, Gary Baseman, Billy Al Bengston, Bumblebeelovesyou, Fritz Chesnut, Rosson Crow, Laddie John Dill, Sam Durant, FriendsWithYou, Alexandra Grant, Lauren Greenfield, Channing Hansen, KAWS, Grant Levy Lucero, Ed Moses, Ed Ruscha, Analia Saban, The Art of Chase, Zoe Walsh, Brenna Youngblood and many more. Artist Gajin Fujita has created an exclusive edition for the event in collaboration with Mixografia and LA Louver.

The Venice Art Walk Gallery at 395 Santa Monica Place on the 1st floor of the East Court is open to the public from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. through May 1.
